1997
- Sergey
Ivannikov & Vladimir Vecherkovskiy (Founders of Russian-American Media)
opened a first digital print shop in Sacramento Russian-Speaking Community. Its
mission: "Do you need business cards tomorrow? Order them today!".
1998 - First
newspaper "VESTI" (News) with circulation of 2,000 issues printed and
distributed free throughout churches & Russian-Speaking Community grocery
stores, businesses & offices of advertisers across the Greater Sacramento
Area.
1999 - First edition
of bi-lingual Slavic Community Telephone Directory in Northern California
"Russian Yellow Pages" is came out.
2000 - First
bi-lingual website www.rypweb.com offer free services to Russian Yellow Pages
advertisers and worldwide users.
2001 - Changed format
and name of Newspaper “VESTI”. Now it is a "The ANONS" - (Breaking
News) by-weekly publication with 10,000 circulations in Greater Sacramento
Area. More than 40,000 Russian-Speaking households enjoy Community News
through subscription and free distribution.
2003 - "The
ANONS" newspaper increase circulation to San Francisco & Bay Area
regions.
2004 -
Russian-American Media start to offer radio advertisement.
2005 - The new
project of Russian-American Media is come out: "The BEST by
Russian-Speaking Community Contest and Award Ceremony.
2006 -
Russian-American Media started new marketing project - TV advertisement on
first in California Local 24/7 Russian-Language TV Channel.
2007 - First Copy of The BEST by Russian-Speaking Community
(California Edition) Full Color Glossy Magazine is printed. It is reflect review
of services, products and activities voted BEST by Russian-speaking Community
of Northern California.
2008 – Russian-American Media celebrate first Anniversary -10 successful
years in business.
